Who is Babolin?Babolin Theatre is an expanding company, branching out into three sections.
We have our Babolin Fringe Company which goes up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival every year with a show create by alumni students from Hills Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge. New this year, we will be introducing Babolin Grads, and Babolin Young Company. See their pages for more information on those. |
Babolin's HistoryBabolin is effectively a training company that started out life as a part of Gomito Productions in 2001, and the number of theatre companies born of that connection is now in double figures.
Babolin's first show up at the fringe in its current run of fourteen consecutive years was 'The Night Before Larry Was Stretched' in 2006. Since then, every year has seen a new, innovative, and challenging piece of theatre travel up to the Fringe under the careful eye of Richard Fredman and a crew of creatives often returning to Babolin. |
